On the creation of a Technology and Innovation Support Center
In accordance with the agreement with the RSE "National Institute of Intellectual Property" (hereinafter – NIIP) dated March 18, 2024, a Technology and Innovation Support Center (hereinafter – TISC) was established on the basis of the "Toraigyrov University". Thus, our university became involved in the International Project of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to create a national network of TISC (Technology and Innovations Support Centers).
The tasks of the TISC include:
- Implementation of propaganda and popularization of knowledge in the field of intellectual property protection
- Promotion of information products and services of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), NIIP and TISC;
- Stimulating inventive activity by explaining the advantages of legal protection of intellectual property and commercialization of patents;
- Joint holding of conferences, seminars and other events in the field of innovation with the National Institute of Intellectual Property in order to promote and popularize issues related to the legal protection and use of intellectual property results.
